Taught by guest chefs, bakers, and

community members known for their culinary skills, our classes are informal and chocked full of useful information. 

Gift certificates for classes are also available. Cooking classes make great gifts!

What to expect at class:

  • All classes are held in our bright and spacious classroom at 16 East Boehringer Street, downtown Batesville.

  • Classes are 11/2 to 2 hours long.

  • All classes are full participation, hands-on unless otherwise noted.

  • All students receive a complete recipe packet, and enjoy a generous serving of each dish.

  • Complimentary wine and beer are available in select classes for those 21 and older. Check class description for details.

  • Wear comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes. We provide aprons and all the equipment you will need. 

  • Infants and children may not accompany adults to class. Minimum age to attend our classes is 16 years old, unless otherwise noted.

  • Maximum class size is 14, unless otherwise noted. If a class is fully booked, you can elect to be placed on a waiting list.

BATTLE OF THE BOWL MEALS 

Capture the refreshing flavors of the last local, summer season produce! Join registered dietitian, Olivia Fledderman, in this hands-on class where participants will craft their own Mediterranean and/or Southwest inspired bowl meals. Participants will also learn how simply these balanced meals can be prepped for a busy week. Vegetarian and vegan friendly options

will be available. $40/per person (limit 16) 

SAT, OCT 16, 2:00 - 4:00 pm

USING NATURAL YEAST WITH DONOVAN & KATE

Attendees will learn the art of using natural yeast successfully as we make sourdough bread, pasta, crackers and tortillas with experts Donovan and

Kate Freeland. $35/per person (limit 16)

BOLD FLAVORS, BALANCED MEAL

The warm, comforting flavors of fall do not have to be sacrificed when opting for more health-promoting food choices. Join registered dietitian, Olivia Fledderman, to learn how to create deep, autumn flavors with local, seasonal foods. Participants will aid in the creation of comforting recipes that can be enjoyed

as a health-promoting, balanced meal.
